Coast Community Health Center will bill all insurance companies, even if you’re out of your plan’s network.

If you have an insurance card, please bring it to your appointment. Your office visit copay is requested at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and major credit and debit cards.

Our health and wellness services are available to all. No one is turned away for inability to pay.

Sliding Fee Discount Program

Our Sliding Fee Discount Program option is offered to all patients.

You may apply even if you have health insurance. Eligibility is based on your yearly household income and family size. Use your most recent tax return, or pay stubs, to estimate income. You will not be asked about assets such as a home or business.

Full Pay Discount Rate

Uninsured and private pay patients are offered a 25% discount when payment is made at the time of service. Those who do not pay at time of service will receive a bill for the full amount.

Insured patients visiting from out of state or country who do not qualify for insurance reimbursement will be served as private pay patients and receive a 15% discount for full payment at the time of service.

Medicare, Oregon Health Plan and Veterans Health Services

We contract with Medicare, Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and the Division of Medical Assistance Programs (DMAP).

Medicare eligible patients can find enrollment assistance with SHIBA. Visit our Programs page for details.

Oregon’s public health insurance, Oregon Health Plan, is now available to more individuals and families. Visit our Population Health Section for help checking eligibility for you or members of your household.

We have preferred provider contracts with VA insurance policies through Regence Triwest Community Care Network and TriWest, Health Net Federal.

If you would like us to bill your insurance, please request a referral from your VA primary care provider for services at Coast Community Health Center. Your office visit copay is requested at the time of service.

Services without a VA referral will be billed on our private pay sliding fee discount program.

Patients are encouraged to contact their insurance company’s customer service department to
• confirm your policy is in our preferred provider network,
• ask about your office visit copay, or
• learn about your benefits.

OHP Benefits

Advanced Health (WOAH) and AllCare Health Plan are the local OHP administrators, also called Coordinated Care Organizations, for Coos and Curry county residents.

Our outreach and enrollment staff are trained to help individuals and families applying for the Oregon Health Plan and private plans available through the federal health insurance marketplace.
