Doctor Hank Holmes, MD, is a third generation family physician with 35 years medical experience. He spent many years serving rural communities of Oregon, Arizona and California, and worked on the Navajo Reservation and in Africa.
His passion has always been for collaboration with competent, passionate, compassionate teams to serve the unmet needs of a community, which is why Coast Community Health Center is a great fit.
Dr. Holmes' recipe for how medicine should be practiced: “Get together a great group of talented folks, treat all patients and staff equally and with respect, do a good job together, and have fun doing it.”
He is cofounder of the Oregon Pain Center, supervising treatment teams including physicians, social workers, physical and occupational therapists and other allied health professionals. And he is dedicated to helping families plan for end of life needs, such as hospice and palliative care. Dr. Holmes joined the Coast Community Health team in 2014.
