Linda Maxon joined Coast Community Health Center as Executive Director in 2010, when the organization was originally founded as Bandon Community Health Center, a not-for-profit rural health center. Linda has been instrumental in leading the organization through its transition to a Federally Qualified Health Center and recognized as a Patient Centered Primary Care Home.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts, Social & Behavioral Sciences, minor Business, and Human Resources Certificate from Linfield College, with graduate studies in Human Resources at Keller School of Business. She will complete her Master of Business/Master of Science, Health Care Administration, from Oregon Health Sciences University in 2018.
Linda was the 2014 Oregon Primary Care Association Growth Award recipient for outstanding contribution to the state’s network of community health centers. Linda serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors at Oregon Primary Care Association, OHSU Campus for Rural Health Advisory Committee (South Coast), and a Bandon School District Budget Committee member.
Linda brings 17 years of senior level human resource experience in not-for-profit, private businesses and public corporations in Oregon and California. Linda is a Rotarian and lives in Coos County with her family where she enjoys the beaches, outdoor recreation and gardening.
