Linda Maxon joined Coast Community Health Center as Chief Executive Officer in 2010, when the organization was originally founded as Bandon Community Health Center, a not-for-profit rural health center. Linda has been instrumental in leading the organization through its transition to a Federally Qualified Health Center and recognition as a Patient Centered Primary Care Home.
Linda is a graduate of the Geiger Gibson Health Policy Fellows Program at Milken Institute School of Public Health, George Washington University and holds a Master of Science, Healthcare Administration, and Master of Business Administration from Oregon Health Sciences University & Portland State University. She pursued graduate studies in Human Resources at Keller School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Science, Social & Behavioral Sciences, minor in Business from Linfield College.
Linda was the 2014 Oregon Primary Care Association Growth Award recipient for outstanding contribution to the state’s network of community health centers. Linda serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors at Oregon Primary Care Association, OHSU Campus for Rural Health Advisory Committee (South Coast), and a Bandon School District Budget Committee member. She is the recipient of the 2018 Coos County Friends of Public Health Super Star award.
Linda brings 17 years of senior level human resource experience in not-for-profit, private businesses and public corporations in Oregon and California. Linda is a Rotarian and lives in Coos County with her family where she enjoys the beaches, outdoor recreation and gardening.
