Expertise and Background
Patricia Savage is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has served young patients and families in Oregon and South Carolina. She has worked in private and public health care clinics, as well as school-based health centers, and healthy start programs.
“I firmly believe in helping people care for themselves. I like to know what the patient would like to accomplish and help them achieve that,” said Savage.
NP Savage believes preventative care and quality health information help families avoid many common but preventable conditions. She also enjoys the variety in her work with infants, children and young adults.
“One of the great things about working with children is I get to work with and involve the whole family in their care. We are a team, working together for the common goal of a happy, healthy child,” said Savage.
NP Savage is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and was the 1992 Pediatric Nurse Practitioner of the Year for the Oregon Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Association. She is a former member of Western Oregon Advanced Health and AllCare Curry County advisory councils.
A lover of animals and nature, NP Savage relocated to the Oregon Coast from the Portland-metro area. She enjoys living and working in rural settings where she can experience closer ties with her neighbors and patients.
