Ann worked as a social worker prior entering medical school, mostly serving clients in residential programs for people with intellectual disabilities and/or psychiatric conditions. This prompted a desire to fight for better health care for some of our most vulnerable community members. She graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 2010, and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Cascades East/OHSU in Klamath Falls in 2013. Her career has involved caring for patients in the hospital, and outpatient adult and pediatric care for the past decade, including team leadership and improving quality in services of rural communities. This has driven her interests in preventative lifestyles to avoid chronic disease and maximize health span, as well as improve the quality of our health care system for better outcomes and efficiencies. She enjoys her family whenever she can and is happy to call the Southern Oregon Coast home.
