Enjoy free fun for the whole family at the Port Orford Wellness Fair on Saturday, September 10. Come to the Port Orford Public Library between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., for refreshments and a variety of activities, provided by Coast Community Health Center along with partnering businesses and organizations. The Port Orford Library is at 1421 Oregon St., on Highway 101.

web-chooseOregon Health & Science University will provide interactive health science displays by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. Learn about health insurance benefits for adults and children with AllCare, Curry County Department of Veterans’ Services and Western Oregon Advanced Health. Take advantage of blood pressure checks and dental screening, bicycle safety checks and helmet giveaway for children. Participants can also enter a bike giveaway courtesy of South Coast Bicycles.

Discuss options for health care services offered by Coast Community Health Center, Coos Health & Wellness, Curry Community Health and the Curry Health Network, plus Advantage Dental and the Ready to Smile program.

The wellness fair is also an opportunity for Curry County residents to take part in a local health survey and contribute to OHSU research.
